http://oliverkwoodman.com/map-project ; This is a nice marraige of a book and an interactive map project. You make a copy of Oliver K. Woodman and include him in a photo. Then you post your image onto a world map. It is a great global collaboration that will make map studies fun for kids.
Schooltube has 35,000 videos. howstuffwork.com is a great source of video clips for history--from Discovery.
http://schools-wikipedia have articles that have been checked for accuracy and appropriateness .
Now there is http://twitter4teachers.pbsworks.com which allows teachers to share lessons...
Have you tried out all the Google tools from GMail, Google Talk(new to me!), Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sites...that are all free.
The eNature site is awesome with field guides, Sibley Guide to Birds, search 5000 species, Ask an Expert...all at http://www.enature.com/home/
